15 Friato sausages for hot dogs;
  • 1 cup and a half of wheat;
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder;
  • Salt to taste;
  • 1 cup of milk;
  • 1 well beaten egg;
  • 1 tablespoon of melted butter or margarine;
  • 12 wooden sticks or ice cream sticks;
  • Frying oil.

Preparation

Mode

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. In a smaller one, mix the milk, the egg and add to the flour.
  3. Stir until smooth.
  4. Add the melted butter and mix well.
  5. Dry the sausages with absorbent paper and stick a toothpick at one end of the sausage so that it reaches halfway.
  6. Hold the sausage by the toothpick and dip it in the dough, letting it reach the toothpick.
  7. Fry in hot oil until the dough browns, drain on paper towels and serve.
