Privacy and cookies
Friato Alimentos, part of Grupo Tomazini, respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what data the site collects, why, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018).
01What we collect and why
- Contact us: name, e-mail, phone, city, state, subject and message; for complaints, also product, batch and photos. We use it to reply and, for complaints, to investigate the product with Quality Assurance.
- Distributors and sales contact: company, CNPJ, contact name, e-mail, phone, WhatsApp, city, state, products of interest and message. We use it to forward your request to the distributor serving your region and to the Friato sales team.
- Work with us: contact details, area of interest and résumé, used only for recruitment. The résumé is e-mailed to HR and is not published on the site.
- E-mail news: your e-mail, when you sign up in the footer or answer "yes" to receiving news. You can unsubscribe at any time from the e-mail itself.
- Browsing: IP address (for security and anti-spam) and, if you allow it, usage data from statistics and marketing cookies.
02Who we share it with
We do not sell your data.
- The Friato distributor serving your region, when you ask for a sales contact.
- Providers that run the site for us: hosting and e-mail delivery.
- Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), only if you accept statistics or marketing cookies.
- Authorities, when required by law.
03Cookies
Cookies are small files the site stores in your browser. Essential ones are always on; the others only work with your permission, and you can change your choice at any time under "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

04Your rights
Under the LGPD you may ask, at any time, for:
- confirmation that we process your data and access to it;
- correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data;
- portability and information on who we share it with;
- withdrawal of consent and deletion of data processed on that basis;
- a complaint to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) if you are not satisfied with our answer.

06Security and retention
We apply technical and administrative measures to protect your data, such as bot protection on forms and restricted access to the admin panel. We keep data only as long as needed for each form's purpose or to meet legal obligations.
