cold chicken gizzards with tomato sauce

Ingredients

1 tablespoon of oil;
  • 1 unit of chopped onion;
  • 600 gr of cold chicken gizzard;
  • 3 tablespoons of tomato extract;
  • 1 1/2 cup (tea) of boiling water;
  • 1 bouillon cube flavored with Bahian spices;
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped green scent.

Preparation

Mode

  1. Remove the thin skin that surrounds the gizzard and set it aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker, brown the onion and sauté the Friato gizzards for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the extract, saute for another 2 minutes and set aside.
  4. Dissolve the stock cube in the water and add to the reserved sauté.
  5. Cover the pan and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside until all the steam comes out.
  7. Open the pan, check the cooking and, if necessary, cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. Uncap the pan and cook until a thick sauce is obtained.
  9. Put on a platter and sprinkle the green scent.
  10. And it's ready! This recipe yields 4 servings and is delicious with basil too.
