On June 13, the Governor of the State of Piauí, Rafael Fonteles, conducted a technical visit to the construction site of the new Nutriza Nordeste S/A Industrial Complex, a project by the Tomazini Group that will house Friato's operations in the state. The visit included the presence of Partner-Director José Mario Tomazini and Industrial Director Giuliano Tomazini, who presented an overview of the work already completed and the next steps of the project.
Expected to become one of the largest industrial investments in the region, the new complex represents a milestone for the economic development of Piauí. The construction of the facility strengthens Friato’s commitment to job creation, the promotion of agribusiness, and the development of the regional production chain.
During the visit, the governor and his team were able to closely observe the progress of the work, which already includes important completed stages such as the acquisition of environmental licenses, drilling of artesian wells, implementation of electric power on-site, and the beginning of the operational structure assembly. The next phases include the construction of the feed factory, warehouses, hatchery, and, starting in 2026, the implementation of the slaughterhouse, processed food unit, and other operational areas.
With the new complex in the heart of the Northeast, Friato advances in its vision of solid and sustainable growth, strengthening its roots, generating jobs, and expanding its presence with a wide range of products.
