From December 14 to 21, the Friato Sports School participated in the 7th edition of the Caldas Cup 2025, a national-level championship held in Caldas Novas (GO), which brought together teams from several regions of Brazil. Friato Alimentos was also present as one of the event’s sponsors, reinforcing its support for sports and initiatives with national reach.
Friato’s participation was even more significant as it was the only company at the championship with a social sports project, highlighting the brand’s role beyond the food industry. The initiative demonstrates, in practice, the company’s commitment to actions that promote inclusion, discipline, and human development through sports.
During the competition, athletes from the Friato Sports School stood out on the field and drew the attention of professionals from nationally recognized clubs, highlighting the quality of the work developed by the project and the athletic potential of the students.
The relevance of the initiative was also highlighted by Leonardo Albuquerque, Technical Scout for Sport Club Internacional, who followed the competition.
“I would like to congratulate the Friato team for the work that has been developed. We had the opportunity to see the facilities, which are excellent. Today, sports are a fundamental tool for inclusion and social mobility, and participating in an event of this magnitude already demonstrates the seriousness of the project,” he stated.
The Friato Sports School was created with the purpose of bringing sports into the lives of the children of Grupo Tomazini employees, offering opportunities for learning, social interaction, and the development of values such as teamwork, respect, and perseverance. Participating in a national championship represents an important milestone for the project, expanding horizons and providing meaningful experiences for young athletes.
For Friato, investing in sports means investing in people. Participation in the Caldas Cup reinforces the belief that social initiatives strengthen not only the company’s internal community but also contribute to building a healthier, more humane, and promising future.
