With this vision, since 2023, we have partnered with eureciclo, the largest packaging reverse logistics certifier in Brazil. This initiative marks the beginning of a new phase in our journey—more responsible, conscious, and aligned with the environmental practices the world needs.

The eureciclo seal now printed on our packaging indicates that Friato offsets part of the packaging used, directly investing in the Brazilian recycling chain and funding the work of cooperatives and certified operators who carry out waste recycling.

In 2024, we offset 36,099 kg of post-consumer packaging—over 36 tons of materials that returned to the production cycle, turning into new resources and generating a positive environmental impact.

Plastic – 20,800 kg: Equivalent to packaging that would take more than 400 years to decompose, now transformed into new materials, and representing over 200,000 recycled plastic bags.

Paper and Cardboard – 15,299 kg: Enough to produce more than 2.5 million A4 sheets of paper and save approximately 1.5 million liters of water—the equivalent of 3,000 residential water tanks of 500 liters each.

By adopting the environmental offset model, Friato reinforces its commitment to responsible waste management, contributes to the income of waste pickers and cooperatives, encourages conscious consumption, strengthens the circular economy, and responsibly complies with environmental legislation.
