First Friato Continuing Education Meeting brings together over 700 participants
The First Continuing Education Meeting took place on Wednesday, November 13, at the Lino Peçanha auditorium of the IF Goiano - Urutaí Campus, a partnership between Friato Alimentos and the Federal Goiano Institute - Urutaí Campus. The event, which was supported by Friato supplier companies, had more than 700 participants, including students, farmers, cooperatives and others.

The First Continuing Education Meeting took place on Wednesday, November 13, at the Lino Peçanha auditorium of the IF Goiano - Urutaí Campus, a partnership between Friato Alimentos and the Federal Goiano Institute - Urutaí Campus. The event, which was supported by Friato supplier companies, had more than 700 participants, including students, farmers, cooperative members, among others.
The event represented the Tomazini Group: Francisco Roberto Tomazini (President); Giuliano Tomazini (Industrial Director); Gustavo Tomazini (General Commercial Director); and representing the Federal Institute of Goiás - Urutaí Campus: Gilson Dourado da Silva (General Director) and Eduardo de Faria Viana (Extension Director).
The event concludes the annual cycle of the consolidated partnership between the Group and the Institute, guaranteeing new projects for 2020. The meeting gave participants the opportunity to learn about and exchange information about poultry and the importance of the sector in the region. In the first moment, the speaker Dr. Mário Penz, Agronomist and Global Director for strategic accounts of the company Cargill Animal Nutrion, brought a wide content about “Perspectives of Poultry Production and Nutrition”.
And in the second moment, after a coffee-break and exchange of experiences between integrated, farmers, technicians and students, Dr. Carlos Ronchi, Veterinary Doctor and Technical Director of the YES Company, spoke about “People generate the results: Let's understand- them better ”.
With a positive balance, the objective of the exchange of knowledge made it possible to direct the future of poultry farming in the region as well as in the performance choices of students and future professionals, strengthening the Tomazini Group's commitment to Education. In addition to events and lectures, Friato has educational programs, Friato in Schools, which receives thousands of students for technical visits to its industrial unit, farms and extensions, and the professionalization of its employees with incentives and scholarships, assuming responsibility to bring knowledge to the most diverse social media.
