On November 7th and 8th, Friato held the 1st Poultry Farmers' Meeting: Broiler Breeders, an event aimed at strengthening the technical knowledge of teams in bird management within the context of Precision Poultry Farming. With technological advancements in the sector, it is essential for professionals to be trained to use new tools that enhance breeding and production.
On the first day, dedicated to the topic of bird rearing, participants attended a lecture by Roberto Yamawaki from Hubbard, who discussed the initial management of breeders. Next, Heleno Bolzan from Cobb spoke about the importance of selection in breeders. Fabiano Gonçalves from Aviagen shared his experiences in managing males during rearing, while Maria Inês Rodrigues da Cunha from Nutrial highlighted the relevance of biosecurity in breeders.
On the second day, focused on egg production, Fabiano Gonçalves presented techniques for managing males in production, and Heleno Bolzan discussed feed management for breeders. Maria Inês Rodrigues da Cunha reinforced the importance of biosecurity, and Roberto Yamawaki concluded the lecture series by discussing management techniques to reduce floor eggs.
